Warren police investigated two stabbings in the city Monday afternoon and early Tuesday

Jeffrey A. Hadden, 54, of Fifth Street Southwest is charged with felonious assault after telling police he stabbed his cousin at 12:30 a.m. today.

When police arrived, they found Hadden’s cousin, Robert A. Sisco Sr., 56, bleeding from a laceration to his upper left arm and said Hadden, who lives with him, had done it.

Hadden was still in the apartment and was “covered in blood,” police said. He was detained and later taken to the Trumbull County jail.

Sisco was taken by ambulance to ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital and treated for his laceration.

Meanwhile, a city woman, 51, who works as a home-health aide to a person in the 2400 block of Cranwood Drive Southwest suffered a laceration to her side at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Cranwood Drive residence.

The woman said two females had attacked her, with one of them stabbing her. The incident may have been related to a domestic-violence incident earlier Monday, police said.

The victim was taken by ambulance to ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital for treatment of the wound.
