Vehicle with oversize load ties up Meridian Road in Austintown

AUSTINTOWN — A vehicle carrying an oversize load caused traffic to be altered late tonight on a township road.

Officials with the Ohio State Highway Patrol were directing traffic and assisting Austintown police after a vehicle with an oversize load – a large yacht – blocked traffic on Meridian Road at its intersection with Interstate 680.

Police officials said no one was hurt. No further details were available late tonight.
