YOUNGSTOWN

Two suspects in the shooting of Larry Robinson, 50, at Elm Street and Madison Avenue near Youngstown State University were arrested early Friday in Pittsburgh.

Evgenia B. Hull, 33, and Thomas Hull, 58, were arrested by U.S. marshals, said Lt. Doug Bobovnyik of the detective bureau.

They are married, Bobovnyik said. Both are charged with attempted aggravated murder.

They are in jail in Pittsburgh and are expected to be arraigned after they are extradited to Ohio.

Robinson was shot Wednesday as he was driving an SUV. Reports said a woman jumped out of a van that was chasing Robinson, fired several shots into the SUV, then jumped into the van, and the van drove away.

Police said the woman was the shooter, and the man drove the van.

Robinson is being treated at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

Bobovnyik said investigators served a search warrant Thursday at a Logan Avenue Internet-based business the Hulls operate. He said they found some evidence but he would not elaborate.

Bobovnyik said police still are not sure of a motive for the shooting.
