MVRC to host Preakness party

Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course is hosting a party for the second leg of the Triple Crown today.

Betting windows open at 10 a.m. at the Austintown track, 655 N. Canfield-Niles Road, for bets on the 2015 Preakness Stakes, run at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore. The arrangement will be similar to the party the track hosted for the Kentucky Derby with barbecue food outdoors starting at 1 p.m. and a DJ playing music outside starting at 2 p.m.

American Pharaoh won the Kentucky Derby earlier this month. Post time is expected to be 6:19 p.m.
