STRUTHERS
Ursuline’s Joel Hake threw a five-inning perfect game against Campbell. Drew Potesta had three hits, including two triples, and three RBIs for the Irish. Ursuline advances to play Girard in a district semifinal at Cene Park on Thursday.
Girard 5, Crestview 3
EAST FAIRFIELD
Zach Burrelli doubled and drove in two runs and the Indians (16-11) used three walks, three bunt singles and a double to score four times in the top of the fourth inning to beat the Rebels in a sectional final. Austin DeGregory and Warren Grift each had two hits for Girard. Indians pitcher Kyle Harris worked 52/3 innings for the win. Christian Bello pitched the final 11/3 innings and earned a save. Girard will meet Ursuline in a district semifinal Thursday at Cene Park. Dan Moore doubled and Tyler Fitzsimmons had two singles for Crestview.

HUBBARD
Drew Bencetic went 4-for-4 with a double and a RBI for Hubbard (13-13, 4-8 AAC White), while B.J. Fronzaglio had two hits, Chris Colella singled and drove in two and Brett Lopuchovsky tripled and drove in three. Nick Ferrar pitched 41/3 innings for the win. For Lakeview (9-11, 5-6), Tim Roberts and Brendan Jones each had two hits and Brock Sarko tripled.
Champion 6, Garfield 5
CHAMPION
Austin Dodril hit an RBI single in the seventh in the seventh to lift Champion. Michael Turner, Bailey Slyk and Dodril combined for five hits and four RBIs. Garfield is 6-18.
Mathews 2, Southington 1
VIENNA
Brian Leipply pitched seven innings, striking out four, to help Mathews beat Southington. Tom Sharp had three hits and Chris Ritz had two for the Mustangs (17-5, 13-1), who clinched their second straight league title. Buck Baugher had six strikouts over six innings in a loss for the Wildcats (16-8, 12-3).
West Branch 12, Louisville 2
BELOIT
Kip DeShields went 3 for 4 with a triple and two RBIs and Hunter Steele tripled and drove in four runs as the Warriors (20-7, 12-2 Northeastern Buckeye Conference) beat the Leopards (17-12, 10-4) to clinch the conference title outright. West Branch has won the NBC each of the last two years. Brant Alazaus pitched five innings for the win.

HOWLAND
Sara Price went 4-for-4 with three doubles, three runs, a walk and two RBIs for Howland, which will play Twinsburg in Thursday’s district semifinal. Hannah Kowach doubled, singled, scored a run and drove in five runs and Reann Litz added three hits, two runs and two RBIs. Leah Pollifrone also had two hits for the Tigers. For Boardman, Ashley Saxton and Miyah Mitchum each singled, doubled and scored a run.

Kiersten Jones delivered a two-run single in the top of the eighth inning and the Golden Flashes (23-4) held on to beat the Falcons (22-3). Alyssa Irons homered to lead off the bottom of the eighth for Jefferson, but Champion pitcher Haylee Gardiner struck out the game’s final two betters with the potential tying run on first base. Gardiner (12-2) struck out 13 and walked three. Irons (17-2) struck out seven and walked three. Megan Turner had three hits for Champion, including a double, and Brittany Allen hit a home run and drove in three runs. The Falcons’ McKenzie Wilber had two hits, including a solo home run and Maggie Moore also homered for Jefferson.
Canfield 12, Lakeside 0
ASHTABULA
Ten first-inning runs allowed Canfield to cruise past Lakeside. The Cardinals (20-7, 10-1) were led by Becky Armstrong, who homered in the fifth and scored twice. Kayla Troxil recorded the win on the mound, pitching two shutout innings.
Hubbard 11, Crestwood 7
HUBBARD
Addy Jarvis had three hits, including on of four Hubbard home runs, to help lift the Eagles over Crestwood. Morgan Kist struck out six and added a homer of her own for the Eagles (16-8). Taylor Barton also homered and Caitlin O’Hara had two hits.
