SLEEPOVER PARTY

Children in preschool to fourth grade are invited to bring their stuffed animal to a fun-filled storytime program and spend the night at the Newport Library, 3730 Market St., Youngstown, beginning at 4 p.m. today.

Parents can pick up their child Saturday. Parents or guardians must make sure each child’s name is on his or her stuffed animal.

RELAY FOR LIFE

Relay For Life of Boardman begins at 6 p.m. today at Boardman Center Middle School, 7410 Market St., and continues until 6 p.m. Saturday.

Relay For Life is a fundraiser and awareness event for the American Cancer Society.

Great Steps4NF Walk

The Neurofibromatosis Network will have its third annual Great Steps4NF Walk at Boardman Park, 375 Boardman- Poland Road, on Saturday. Participants can register online at www.nfnetwork.org.

The event starts at 9 a.m. with registration. The walk begins at 10 a.m. Preregistration is $20 for adults ($25 the day of the event); children 4 to 10, $12; and 3 and under, $6. Participants can either walk as an individual or as a team. Each person raising $100 or more will have the registration fee waived.

NF research is aimed at identifying a treatment and cure for this genetic, progressive nervous- system disorder.
