7 want to be WR Port Authority exec director


VIENNA

Seven men submitted applications by Friday’s deadline to become executive director of the Western Reserve Port Authority, including one attorney and two current airport executives.

John Moliterno, interim executive director since September, is also one of the seven.

The others are:

• Michael Haritakis of Hudson, Ohio, co-founded and grew the start-up medical-device manufacturer Thermedx from 2007 to the present

• Derek Martin of New Jersey, manager of air service at The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey from 2014 to the present.

• Anthony T. Trevena of Ormond Beach, Fla., owner and operator of Fusion 43, an Ormond Beach restaurant, former chief of staff for John Boccieri when Boccieri was a member of Congress and deputy director of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for Ted Strickland when he was a congressman.

• Jeffrey Miller of Mishawaka, Ind., has been senior airport operations specialist at San Jose International Airport in San Jose, Calif., for three years.

• John Sernulka of Richmond, Ky., recently retired from Sherwin-Williams Co., where he was continuous improvement manager, distribution service center manager, plant controller and administrative manager for distribution.

• Albert R. LeRoy of Vienna has been general manager of B2B Sales and Service, Things Remembered Fulfillment Center, since 2014.
