Cincinnati VA has fair to provide information for veterans

CINCINNATI (AP) — An information fair in southwest Ohio is offering veterans and other military personnel a chance to get answers to questions about health benefits, pensions and other topics.

The fair was today at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. Experts were slated to be on hand to talk with veterans, reservists, active-duty military and National Guard members.

Information was expected to be available on issues including compensation and social security benefits and disability. Representatives also can provide assistance with insurance and vocational rehabilitation.

Veterans wanting to file claims or enroll in services offered through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs were asked to bring their military service record forms, known as DD-214s.
