Western Reserve 14, Mineral Ridge 3
BERLIN CENTER
The Blue Devils spotted the Rams a 2-0 first-inning lead, but the rest was all Western Reserve. The Blue Devils scored the next 13 runs, including seven in the bottom of the first, and won easily in a Division IV sectional final. John Clegg went 3 for 4 with a home run and four RBIs for the Blue Devils. Walker Marlowe doubled, tripled and had two RBIs and five other Western Reserve players drove in runs. Wyatt Larimer scatteed six hits in five innings for the win. Kyle Barnett had two hits for Mineral Ridge. The Blue Devils advance to a district semifinal on Monday.

NORTH JACKSON
Tyler Totani’s two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning delivered the win for the Bluejays (16-6-1). Totani had four hits and four RBIs. Noah Laster had three hits and winning pitcher Justin Rentz had two. For the Blue Devils (12-10), Cameron Ifft and Garrett Mulroney each had two hits. Jackson-Milton advances to play Sebring in Monday’s district semifinal game at Cene Park in Struthers.

Branton Alex hit a fifth-inning grand slam as part of a five-run uprising as the Trojans erased a 3-1 deficit and beat the Lions to win a sectional title. Alex, Josh Zmuda, Joey Hollback and Andrew Weingart each had two hits for Sebring (14-9), which advances to a district semifinal on Monday. Andy Sodergren had two hits and scored twice for Heartland Christian, which completes its season at 12-8.

Matt Baker’s two-run double in the sixth inning gave the Bulldogs the lead and eventually the win. Eric White doubled and drove in two runs, including the tying run with a suicide squeeze earlier in the sixth. Anthony Calcagni had two hits. Don Drummand pitched three innings for his first varsity victory. Poland finishes the regular season 22-2 and 12-0 in the AAC White. Murphy Miller. Damien Coleman and Tyler Srbinovich each had two hits for Niles. Chance Hanshaw drove in two runs for the Red Dragons.
Springfield 7, Canfield 6
NEW MIDDLETOWN
The Tigers blew a 5-0 lead when the Cardinals scored six runs in the top of the seventh inning, but Springfield won it with two runs in the bottom of the inning. Dalton Donachie singled, doubled and drove in three runs for the Tigers and Hunter Snyder singled, doubled twice and had two RBIs. Snyder ended up with the win after working one-third of an inning in relief. Ryan Kohler singled and doubled for Springfield. Machuga singled and doubled for Canfield and Wittman and Hernandez each drove in two runs for the Cardinals.

STRUTHERS
Boldt, Romano and Gagne combined for four hits and five RBIs as the Bulldogs beat the Wildcats for the second straight day, this time at Cene Park. Brandon Cortez paced Struthers with a single, triple and four RBIs.

GIRARD
Winning pitcher Dylan White struck out seven and walked three for the Indians (13-11). At the plate, White had two hits and scored three runs. Zach Burrelli had two hits, two runs and three RBIs while Kyle Harris had two hits and three RBIs. For the Panthers (1-15), M. Caige doubled.

Cody Cykon had two hits and the Golden Flashes scoredin each of the five innings to rout the Red Devils. Champion scored four runs in the first, six in the second, single runs in the third and fourth and finished with an eight-run uprising in the fifth.

Chris Miller had two hits and three RBIs and Michael Turner singled, doubled and drove in two runs as the Golden Flashes (16-6, 11-2 AAC Red) rallied from a 4-1 deficit to beat the Red Devils. Nico Bednarik had two hits for Campbell and M. Jones drove in two runs.

POLAND
Ally Deemer tossed a one-hitter for the Bulldogs (16-7). She struck out nine and walked none. Amanda Wire, Calire Testa and Brielle Nocera each had three hits. Wire also had three RBIs. Deemer, Chloe Bush and Kristyn Svetlak each ahd two hits. Poland advances to the district semifinals to play West Branch on Monday at Alliance High School. For Ravenna, Alyssa Smetak homered.
Hubbard 13, Lakeview 12
CORTLAND
The Eagles fell behind 9-3, but stormed back to stun the Bulldogs in a sectional final. Hubbard’s six-run sixth inning was highlighted by Caitlin O’Hara’s three-run single and a two-run homer by Morgan Kist. O’Hara, Kist and Lea Munnell each had two hits for the Eagles. Avery Steiner led Lakeview with four hits, while Kylee Mann had three and Sam Marino and Tori Wells each had two hits for the Bulldogs. Mann drove in four runs.

Girard 7, Rootstown 1
GIRARD
Winning pitcher Karlee Byrne struck out 10 and walked two for the Indians (12-10). She also hit a solo homer. Brooke Wade had two hits to drive in three runs. Mackenzie Olesky’s two hits included a triple. Girard advances to today’s sectional final against Cardinal Mooney at the Fields of Dreams in Boardman.

Lauren Pesa homered and drove in two runs amd Michaela Gauding doubled and had three RBIs as the Warriors beat the Mustangs in a sectional semifinal. Alisha Quinlan scattered six hits in a six-inning shutout. Destiny May, McKenzie Drapola and Ciara Rotunno each had two hits for the Warriors. Drapola had a triple, Rotunno had a double and KenYana Ashley had a double for Brookfield. Quinlan and Rotunno each had two RBIs.

Brittany Knight tossed a no-hitter for the Bombers (15-3, 13-0 Northeastern Athletic Conference). Her three hits included a triple and she drove in three runs. Jessica isler had two hits and scored twice. Madi Kilgore’s three hits included a double.

Fitch 7, Warren Harding 3
AUSTINTOWN
A five-run second inning was the difference as the Falcons (12-13, 7-5 AAC Blue) beat the Raiders in their regular-season finale. McKenzie Luknis singled, doubled and drove in two runs for Fitch. Sierra Pierce (single, triple, RBI), Bri Protain (single, double, RBI) also contributed to the Falcons’ attack. Julia McMenamin and Ashlea Hawryluk each had a single and drove in a run. Alex Franken pitched a five-hitter for the win. Talayshah Harris had a triple and Tatyana DeFoor had a double for the Raiders (7-20, 2-10). Harding will face Aurora in a Division I sectional semifinal today. The winner will visit Fitch in a sectional final Thursday at 9-11 Memorial Field in Austintown.
