Former MYCAP exec guilty of 2 corruption charges
YOUNGSTOWN — A jury in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court this afternoon found the former executive director of the Mahoning Youngstown Community Action Partnership guilty of two of three corruption charges.
Richard Roller, 50, of Colonial Drive in Liberty was found guilty of theft and grand theft. He was found not guilty of unlawful interest in a public contract.
Jurors deliberated about an hour before reaching a verdict about 12:40 p.m.
A visiting judge dismissed a misdemeanor count of improper solicitation of a public contract.
Sentencing has not been set yet.
