Boardman fire may have been intentionally set

BOARDMAN — Township police and fire officials are investigating a fire they believe may have been started intentionally. 

Officials responded to an Oregon Trail home about 5 p.m. Tuesday for a call about an attached garage that was on fire, according to a police report. 

No one was injured, and the fire did not spread to the house. 

Officials say the fire began in the center of the garage.

"With no obvious or suspected cause of the fire, it is believed the fire have been intentionally set," the report reads.
