Sax man Paul Taylor to headline Downtown Jazz Fest in July

YOUNGSTOWN — Paul Taylor will headline the Downtown Jazz Fest on July 11 on Central Square, downtown.

Tickets will be $8 in advance and $10 day of show. Ticket-purchase information will be released at a later date. The show starts at 7 p.m. and will take place rain or shine.

It’s sponsored by the city and the Mahoning County Visitors Bureau.

Taylor is a contemporary urban jazz saxophonist known for instantly identifiable tones, infectious melodies and his live performances.

Taylor made his debut in 1996 with “On the Horn.” His 10th and latest album is titled “Tenacity.”
