WARREN
Frederick A. Moore, 59, of Highland Avenue Southwest, was arraigned Monday on six misdemeanor charges related to a search warrant issued at the Better Daze club, 2382 W. Market St., on Friday.
Moore, who ran the club, is charged with six misdemeanor charges — four of activities prohibited without a license; and single counts of keeping a place where beer or liquor is sold, furnished or given away; and marijuana possession.
He was released from the Trumbull County jail Monday after posting $4,000 bond.
The charges were filed by the Ohio Investigative Unit, which is a part of the Ohio Department of Public Safety. The unit was formerly known as Ohio Liquor Control.
The unit investigated a complaint that the club was selling alcohol without a license and found that to be true while serving the search warrant, said George Pitre, agent in charge of the Canton District office.
The club was a bring-your-own-bottle club known as the Boogie Down in the fall of 2014, according to Vindicator files.
