Austintown Fitch 16, East 5
Jake Gherardi had two hits, a run and two RBIs for Fitch, which jumped out to a 13-0 lead after two innings. Patrick Gerberry added a double, two runs and two RBIs and Gino Rozzi had two hits, a run and a RBI. Jeremy Woodberry and Richard McBride each had a hit, a run and a RBI for East.
DIVISION IV
Mineral Ridge 11, Wellsville 10
Aaron Frantz had three hits, three RBIs and scored two runs for Mineral Ridge (11-10), which scored the game-winner in the bottom of the eighth. Macauley White added three hits and scored three runs, Jared Gherardi got the win in relief, giving up four runs (one earned) in five innings. Travis Furbee had two hits, a run and a RBI for Wellsville and Nick Bayer added two hits and a RBI.
Heartland Christian 3, Lordstown 1
Phil Bell pitched a three-hitter and struck out 10 for the Lions (12-7). Nate Montgomery had two hits and a run and Nathan Sommers doubled and scored twice.
McDonald 8, Leetonia 1
Ben Carkido threw a three-hitter with seven strikeouts. He also had two hits, including a triple, and a RBI. Garrett Mulrooney and Billy Woolfrom each went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for McDonald (12-9).
REGULAR SEASON
Poland 7, Niles 2
Adam Knight (7-0) went the distance for the win, giving up one earned run on four hits with eight strikeouts for Poland (21-2), which clinched the outright All-American Conference title. Jake Hawkins and Dom Lipari each had two hits for the Bulldogs.
Cardinal Mooney 10, Warren Harding 0
Jon Saadey pitched a two-hitter with four strikeouts and a walk for Mooney. Jack Lynch had three hits, two runs and a RBI and Laz Lebron had two hits and two runs.
Boardman 11, Ashtabula Lakeside 1
Sam Varga (5-1) struck out seven and walked one, giving up four hits in five innings. Gino Beato had three hits and three RBIs, Brian Fryda had three hits and Coleman Stauffer had two hits for Boardman (16-11, 8-2 AAC Red).
Lakeview 15, Struthers 5
Jackson Gagne and Brendan Jones each had two hits and four RBIsand Andrew Grove doubled and drove in three for the Bulldogs (8-9, 4-5 AAC White). Jimmy Guinn worked 42/3 innings for the win. Christian Nemeth and Brett Nemeth each had two hits for the Wildcats (5-12, 1-10).
South Range 12, Columbiana 4
Ryan Miller went 4-for-4 with four RBIs and Josh Fromel had three hits, drove in two runs and scored twice for South Range. Keenan Green had two hits, including a triple, for Columbiana.
Howland 9, Berkshire 3
Austin Cooley singled, tripled and scored a run and Zach Campbell added two hits, two runs and a RBI for Howland, which scored six runs in the top of the eighth inning to win.
Mathews 15, Lowellville 1
Bryan Leipply had two hits, including a homer, and drove in three runs for Mathews. Bryan Oatridge singled, doubled and drove in three runs and Chris Ritz had two hits and three RBIs. Anthony Oulton gave up five hits in five innings to get the win, striking out two and not walking a batter. Joe Micco doubled for Lowellville.
West Branch 14, Louisville 0
Kip DeShields had two hits, drove in four runs and scored once for WB, which clinched a share of the Northeastern Buckeye Conference title. He also struck out four and scattered three hits to get the win for the Warriors (18-7, 11-2). Hunter Steele also scored twice and had two RBIs.
United 10, Lisbon 5
Drew Wilson singled, tripled, drove in two runs and scored for United. He also went the distance to get the victory. For Lisbon, Colin Sweeney singled, tripled and drove in two runs and Zach Shaffer had two hits, including a double, and scored twice.

Hubbard 7, Marlington 0
Addy Jarvis struck out eight and allowed only two hits to lift Hubbard. Javis also had three hits, including a solo homer. Morgan Kist had a grand slam and Maddie Nicoloff added two doubles for the Eagles (14-8).

Fitch 7, Warren Harding 6
Alex Franken doubled, singled and drove in three runs, including the tying and go-ahead runs in the top of the seventh inning for Fitch (11-13, 6-5 AAC Red). McKenzie Luknis had three hits and Ashley Hawryluk had three hits, a RBI and made a running catch in center field in the bottom of the sixth to end the inning with the bases loaded. For Harding (7-19, 2-9), Alexis Stano tripled and drove in three runs.
Howland 9, Boardman 6
Reann Litz had three hits, two runs and two RBIs for Howland, while Sarah Price, Hannah Burke and Leah Pollifrone each had two hits and two RBIs. Kristen Huck had three hits, scored twice and drove in a run for Boardman. Hailey Eicher had two hits and three RBIs and Lexi Caraballo had two hits, two runs and a RBI.
Canfield 11, Lakeside 0
Kara Rothbauer homered and drove in two runs, Allison Fabry also homered and Ally Sammarco had two hits, scored twice and drove in two runs for Canfield (17-7). Rachel Tinkey doubled, singled twice and drove in two runs. Kayla Troxil (4-4) pitched a three-hitter to get the win. Lakeside is 2-21.
Champion 13-12, Campbell 0-0
McKenzie Zigmont (10-2) pitched a three-hitter with six strikeouts for Champion in the opener. Amber Ricci singled, doubled, tripled and drove in three runs. In the second game, Megan Turner (1-0) pitched a four-hitter with nine strikeouts for the Flashes (21-4, 11-1 AAC Blue), who clinched the league title. Zigmont had three hits and four RBIs.
Columbiana 6, McDonald 1
Navi Kaur had two hits and dove in a run and Holly Gotthardt had two hits, including a double, and two RBIs to lead Columbiana. Madison Macklin had three strikeouts and walked one to get the win for the Clippers (21-3). Cheyenne Titus had two hits and scored a run and Olivia Samson had two hits for McDonald (13-4).
Mathews 5, Madison 4
Cheyenne Eggens picked up her 19th win. Jenna Siefert scored a run, drove in a run and stole a base for Mathews (19-5, 11-1). Alicia Major homered and had three RBIs for Madison (17-5).
United 4, Lisbon 3
Anna Paterson pitched a four-hitter with five strikeouts and three walks for United. She also had two doubles, scored two runs and drove in a run. For Lisbon, Hannah Hiscox and Kimmi Wiggers each had a hit, a run and a RBI.
Columbiana 6, McDonald 1
Holly Gotthardt singled, doubled and drove in two runs and Elise Hammond, Navi Kaur and Madison Roessler also had two hits each for the Clippers (21-3, 8-0 ITCL2). Cheyenne Titus and Olivia Sanson each had two hits for McDonald.
TRACK AND FIELD
AAC Blue championship
Girard’s girls 4x100- and 4x200-meter relays set stadium records and the Indians swept the boys and girls team titles at the All-American Conference Blue Tier championships at Champion High. Girard’s 4x100 relay finished in 51.20 and the 4x200 relay ran a 1:47.90. The Indians finished with 201 points. Champion was second with 103. On the boys side, Girard had 179 points while Newton Falls was second with 130. Newton Falls’ Bucyrus Palo set a stadium record with a discus throw of 167 feet, 7 inches and LaBrae’s Keevon Harris set the stadium record in the 300 hurdles (39.70).
