Trio arrested in Campbell on drug charges

Three Youngstown residents will appear in court today on weapons and drug charges.
On Friday, Albert Coffer, 26, was detected speeding on Gladstone Avenue, according to a police report. Lamar Armstrong, 28; Jasmine Harrison, 24; and her young daughter were passengers in the vehicle.
Coffer eventually stopped on Sixth Street. Police smelled what they believed was marijuana emitting from the car, and conducted a search of the vehicle. Armstrong was found to be possessing a torn plastic bag.
Police also found a burnt marijuana blunt and a loaded handgun in the vehicle.
All three were charged with drug paraphernalia, drug possession and carrying concealed weapons.
Coffer was cited for speed and driving under a license-forfeiture suspension.
He and Armstrong also were charged with having weapons while under a disability for prior offenses.
Harrison was charged with child endangerment.
She was taken to Mahoning County jail, while the other two are in Campbell City jail.
According to court records, bond was set at $70,750 for Coffer; $61,000 for Armstrong; and $43,000 for Harrison.
The child was released to a family member.
