BINGO/Card PARTIES

St. Rose Church, 61 E. Main St., Girard, will have a Big Bingo Night on Friday with prizes of $6,000 in bingo games expected to be paid out. Doors open at 4 p.m., and bingo starts at 6:30. Admission is $35 a ticket per person. Advance tickets are being sold at Wednesday night St. Rose Bingo and Monday through Friday at St. Rose Rectory. Tickets are available by calling 330-545-8207 for details or purchases. A maximum of 250 tickets will be sold. Prizes are guaranteed with a minimum of 180 in attendance. The first half coverall is $1,000, and the second is $1,500. Other prizes will include three $100 cash prizes, two sets of one-month free bingo (valued at $100 each) and Winner Take All Raffle at $3 per ticket, two tickets for $5 and four tickets for $10. Pull-tab games also will be sold.

CRAFT SHOWS

Celebrate Poland craft show will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 27 at the Poland Village Hall, 308 S. Main St. Arts and crafts vendors and nonprofit groups are asked to call Barbara Banks at 330-757-4584 for registration. The fee for this one-day event is $30 for a 15-by-10-foot space. Celebrate Poland is a family friendly weekend including a parade, music and fireworks.

SALES

Helping Hands Closet at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, has new and gently used clothes for the entire family. Just in for women are sizes 3X, 4X and 5X. Some wedding attire is available. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays.

Howland Community Church, 198 Niles-Cortland Road SE, Warren, is sponsoring a garage, attic and basement sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Food will be available, and admission is free.

Lawrence County Garden Mart is sponsoring a gathering of garden clubs and others who will be selling annuals, perennials, baked goods and crafts from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 18 at Cascade Park Pavilion, Cascade Street, New Castle, Pa. Proceeds from the sale benefit the clubs, and the cost of the spaces benefits the city of New Castle for improvements to the park.

Lockwood United Methodist Church, 4570 Lockwood Blvd., Youngstown, is hosting a community rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Cornersburg Baptist Church will host a free car wash from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at 3898 Tippecanoe Road in Cornersburg. Free lemonade and cookies will be served while your vehicle is washed.

Mastropietro Winery, 14558 Ellsworth Road, Berlin Center, will host a car show from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. Registration will be from 10 a.m. to noon. Display your car or vote for your favorite. Lunch will be available. For information call 330-881-0705. The event is sponsored by the youth of New Hope United Methodist Church in Niles. Rain date will be Sunday.
