Artwork display, sale at hospital

Dogs and horses are featured in a display of artwork at the Nissen Gallery in Trumbull Memorial Hospital, East Market Street, through June 23. Most of the 87 pieces of art on display are for sale.

Orffeo watercolors featured at Hoyt
NEW CASTLE, PA.
Watercolors of American painter and sculptor Joseph Angelo Orffeo (1926-2013) will be at the Hoyt Center for the Arts from Tuesday through July 31. The loan from the artist’s estate was made possible by the artist’s wife, Linda Orffeo, and Wendy Warner of New Wilmington, Pa., who studied with Orffeo.
A public reception will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Admission is free, and refreshments will be served.
