Identity theft program to help protect public
SALEM
A consumer protection presentation, “Identity Theft,” will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. May 19 in the library’s Quaker Room at 821 E. State St.
The program will be presented by Robert G. Davis, a 30-year veteran of law enforcement.
He is associated with the Ohio Attorney General’s office.

Event to benefit two with health issues
CLARKS MILLS, PA.
The third annual Change of Heart Community Day will take place May 31 at Commodore Perry Community Park, behind the school.
The event will benefit Daryl Chess, a 1973 graduate of Commodore Perry, and Shaina Wengerd, 18 months, who both have health issues.
The day will include registration at 9 a.m., a 5K walk or run at 10, a car cruise at 11 (register by calling 724-253-2417 before May 22), a church service at 11:30, a community picnic at 1 p.m., a softball game and Pilot House Band at 2, and games for children and adults from 2 to 4 p.m.
A basket auction will take place during the day with the drawing at 4 p.m.

Victory ministries sets 5K Run, 2 Mile Walk
CAMPBELL
Victory Compassion Ministries will host its inaugural Compassion 5K Run/2 Mile Walk on May 23 at Roosevelt Park, Sycamore Drive, to raise awareness and support for local and foreign missions.
The cost is $30 per runner/walker, and all proceeds support Victory Compassion Ministries, which is the Missions and Outreach arm of Victory Christian Center.
The ministry affects lives in Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania and supports missionaries stateside and internationally, sending teams to El Salvador, Kenya, Israel, India, Romania, Scotland, Peru, Nicaragua, Latvia and Haiti.
Victory Christian Center maintains eight local campuses in Boardman, Coitsville, Columbiana, Liberty, New Castle, New Wilmington, Warren and Vienna, with a weekly attendance of just under 5,000.
