Closing arguments begin today in Mascarella trial

YOUNGSTOWN — Jurors in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court are about to hear closing arguments before Judge Lou D'Apolito in the case of a man facing 15 counts of aggravated robbery.

Joseph Mascarella, 20, is on trial for six robberies in the fall of 2013 on the South Side. Testimony in the case began Tuesday.

A co-defendant has already pleaded guilty
