Burglary reported

Youngstown

Police are investigating a burglary on Salt Springs Road, reported Vindicator news partner 21 WFMJ-TV.

Police received a call from neighbors about 8 a.m. Sunday that two suspects were seen leaving a house on the 1100 block.

A neighbor reportedly blocked the suspects in the driveway with his own vehicle so that they could not escape.

Officials say the suspects tried to back their car up to frighten the neighbor into moving, but when that did not work they fled on foot.

The suspects are believed to have run toward the railroad tracks near Waverly Avenue. When police arrived they found the suspects had broken the rear door of an apartment and had two flat screen TVs in their vehicle.
