The West Branch High softball split two games at the Mahoning Valley Invitational.

Sara Price hit two doubles to lead Howland to a 5-4 victory over the Warriors.

Winning pitcher Hannah Burke also had two hits.

For the Warriors (18-5), Kelsey Byers’ two hits included a double and drove in three runs.

In a 4-0 victory over Austintown Fitch, Byers (6-1) tossed a four-hit shutout, striking out seven and walking none. Kylie Coffelt had two hits.

For the Falcons, McKensie Luknis doubled.
