Women United! feeding inner-city kids Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN — Women United!, a new women’s movement, is taking action even before its first meeting by feeding 250 to 300 inner-city children at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Dominic Parish Center, 77 E. Lucius Ave., before the kids head to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus at Covelli Centre.

Circus tickets for the children are provided by the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley and the Difference Makers.

The first meeting of Women United!, a leadership group under the United Way umbrella, is at 10:30 a.m. at the church when it will unveil its mission. For information, visit www.ymvunitedway.org.
