Mill Creek MetroParks is hosting a series of spring programs and events through Sunday:

Today: Three events at Fellows Riverside Gardens, 123 McKinley Ave. National Public Gardens Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; the first Family Fun Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.; and the spring plant sale from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Saturday: The spring bird walk at Newport Wetlands will take place from 8:30 to 10 a.m.; the Fitness Together 5K run/walk at Wick Recreation Area will take place at 9 a.m.; the spring plant sale will take place at Fellows Riverside Gardens from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; a llama program at the MetroParks Farm in Canfield from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Kids Bike Safety Day at the MetroParks Farm from noon to 1:30 p.m.; and the junior golf clinic at the Mill Creek Golf Course from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Sunday: The Mother’s Day Plant Sale at Fellows Riverside Gardens from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; a traveling naturalist at the Lily Pond from 1 to 3 p.m.; and a recreational hike at the Ford Nature Center at 2 p.m.
