Jared Kapturasky tossed a five-inning perfect game for the Falcons. He struck out 10 batters. Kapturasky tripled and doubled to drive in three runs. He also scored two. Nick Heitzer hit two doubles to drive in two runs. He also scored two. Dominic Difransesco had three runs and scored twice, while Jordan Kurm contributed two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored. Brian Beany tripled and scored.

Scott Lendak had two hits and three RBIs and Mark Herron got the win for the Spartans (14-10). Doug Painter had two hits for the Raiders (12-10).

HUBBARD

The Red Devils (8-12) won their fourth game in a row after rallying for four runs in the seventh inning. Nico Bednarik had three hits and drove in five runs. Mike Jones had three hits and Ian Sewell scored three runs. Ryan Love and Colin Shinosky had three hits for the Eagles (10-11).

Vinnie Lucente pitched five innings and had six strikeouts and Vito Penza was 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs for the Irish. Andy Sodergren had a double for the Lions (11-6).

At Eastwood Field, Trevor Kimmel pitched a complete game with four strikeouts and had two hits for the Bulldogs. Dylan Porteolese was 2-for-3 with two stolen bases for the Blue Devils (10-9).

NILES

Geno Barricella had two hits, scored three runs and drove in another to lead Niles over Champion. Cameron Carson scattered seven hits over seven innings to earn the win for the Red Dragons. Joe Batcho and Jake Walters scored for the Flashes.

Girard 4, Lakeview 1

GIRARD

Kyle Harris went 3-for-3, scored twice and drove in a run to lead Girard past Lakeview. Austin DeGregory had six strikeouts to earn the win. Dylan White was also 2-for-3 for the Indians (11-11). Chris Romano and Ethan Meyers each had two hits for the Bulldogs (7-9).

Springfield 11, Western Reserve 1

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Hunter Snyder drove in six runs and had two hits and Brandon Chamberlain shut down Western Reserve to help Springfield win. Chamberlain struck out three over five innings. Luke Frye went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored for the Tigers (17-7). Walker Marlowe had a hit and scored a run for the Blue Devils.

Jackson-Milton 4, Wellsville 3

NORTH JACKSON

Nick Householder scored on a walk-off single by Zac Lane to lift Jackson-Milton over Wellsville. Justin Rentz had two strikeouts as five Blue jays pitchers combined to throw a one-hitter. Nate Clark and Tyler Totani each had two hits for the Blue jays (13-6-1).

Mineral Ridge 11, Lisbon 7

LISBON

Aaron Frantz had four hits and two RBIs and Kyle Barnett had two RBIs for the Rams (9-10). Noah Barnes had three hits and two RBIs for the Blue Devils (7-11).

West Branch 13, Marlington 3

ALLIANCE

Jake Smith had a double and four RBI and Brant Alazaus picked up the win for the Warriors (15-7). Jake Jones had a RBI for the Dukes (13-8).

Columbiana 13, United 3

COLUMBIANA

Mitch Davidson had two hits, three RBIs and scored twice to lead Columbiana’s offense over United. Jake Clark struck out six over five innings to pick up the win for the Clippers (14-10). Swords had a hit, an RBI and scored for the Eagles.

LIBERTY

Hannah Burke tossed a three-hitter, striking out three. Hanah Kowach led the Tigers’ offense with three hits and two RBIs. Lexi Ross and Sara Price each had two hits, while Leah Polifrone scored two runs. For Pymatuning Valley, A. Torres drove in the run and M. Stech, N. Mann and P. Sloan had the hits.

Hubbard 18, Springfield 4

LIBERTY

Caitlin O’Hara drove in four runs and Emma Wukelich hit a triple as Hubbard’s bats were hot against Springfield. Morgan Kip added four RBIs, three hits and picked up the win on the mound for the Eagles (12-7). Applegate suffered the loss for the Tigers (10-12).

LIBERTY

Michaela Gauding and Ella Simcox each had two hits and drove in a pair of runs to lead Brookfield over Warren Harding. Destiny May and KenYana Ashley also recorded two hits for the Warriors. Chelsea DiPaoloa had hits for the Raiders.

BOARDMAN

Ashley Cornelius hit a walk-off double in the bottom of the eighth inning to score Addison Menosky with the winning run. Cornelius pitched the top of the eighth inning to earn her first varsity victory. Lauren Gabriele pitched seven innings, giving up four hits and one unearned run. Sidney Aey tripled to start the fifth inning and Kristen Huck followed with a RBI single to tie the game at 1-1.

Girard 10, Lakeview 6

GIRARD

Brooke Waid went 3-for-4 with four RBIs and a run scored and Rosie Maderitz struck out four to earn the win for Girard over Lakeview. Mackenzie Olesky also went 2-for-4 with three RBIs for the Indians (10-8, 7-5). Sam Marino had two hits and Mackenna Cannon drove in three runs for the Bulldogs (11-5, 8-2).

Molly Williams had four hits and five RBIs and McKenzie Zigmont struck out 10 to lead Champion over Niles. Kiersten Jones added two hits and drove in three runs for the Flashes (16-4). Alexandria Blane had a double and three RBIs for the Red Dragons.
