Boardman cruises past Girard

Anna Saxton and Olivia Russell both homered as the Boardman High softball team pounded Girard, 12-2.

Russell also contributed two singles and five RBIs. Lauren Gabriele added two hits and two RBIs and Kristen Huck pitched a six-hitter.

Brooke Waid and Rose Maderitz each had two hits for Girard.
