Little Dresses for Haiti event is Tuesday in Hubbard

HUBBARD — The Corner House Christian Church, 6954 Chestnut Ridge Road, will host a meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday to discuss its “Little Dresses for Haiti” project. Those with sewing skills, as well as anyone interested in learning more about Haiti, are urged to attend.

Corner House will work in conjunction with LifeLine Christian Missions of Westerville, Ohio, who is responsible for sending more than 2000 sundresses to children in Haiti the past three years.

During the event, a collection of sundresses will be made. Patterns, fabrics and sewing notions will be available at the meeting.
