Boardman residents face drug-related charges

BOARDMAN — Two township residents face drug-related charges after police searched their Shields Road apartment.

Jazmine Daniels, 21, is charged with permitting drug abuse, a misdemeanor offense.

Davonte White, 23, is charged with possession of heroin, cocaine and drug paraphernalia. He also had arrests warrants out of Youngstown and the county juvenile court. The drug possession charges are fifth-degree felonies.

The charges stem from a search of their apartment Tuesday after police obtained a search warrant.

Police reportedly found digital scales containing heroin residue and white residue, $225 in cash and small bags containing suspected heroin and cocaine.

Daniels was released on a summons and White was taken to the Mahoning County jail.
