United Auto Workers Local 1112 re-elects Glenn Johnson as president


LORDSTOWN

The 3,500 workers represented by the United Auto Workers Local 1112 recently voted to re-elect Glenn Johnson as president of the local.

UAW 1112 workers at the General Motors Lordstown Assembly Plant, Magna Seating, Jamestown Industries, Voith-Hydrochem, Kmart Distribution Center, Mahoning County Jobs and Family Services and Infinite Synergy had general elections from May 4 to May 5.

Johnson was re-elected to his second term as president by acclimation, Tim O’Hara was also re-elected as vice president and Jim Stanton was re-elected to his fifth term as financial secretary. Michael Aurilio was re-elected to his sixth term as recording secretary and Dan Morgan was re-elected to shop chairperson of the UAW 1112-GM bargaining group.
