Jury deadlocked in Kerr murder trial

YOUNGSTOWN — Jurors today told Judge R. Scott Krichbaum in the Paul Kerr aggravated murder trial in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court that they are deadlocked.

Kerr, 48, is accused of shooting Lenzie Morgan, 49, in Morgan's home in the 2200 block of Shady Run Road home Sept. 30.

Morgan died Oct. 15 of his wounds.

Judge Krichbaum sent the jurors back to deliberate to re-examine their positions.

Jurors have been deliberating since about 10:45 a.m. today.
