Murphy Miller and Garrett Pitts each had three hits and two RBIs and Chance Hanshaw got the win for the Red Dragons. Brett Lopuchovsky had an RBI and two runs scored for the Eagles.

GIRARD

Christian Bello threw a one-hitter with 12 strikeouts and hit a triple for the Indians (10-11). Austin DeGregory had an RBI single and Dylan White had an RBI double. The Vikings fall to 9-7.

Boardman 6, Canfield 0

CANFIELD

Lou Cardona doubled twice — including a bases-clearing shot in a five-run second inning — and finished with four RBIs — and Danny Boerio pitched a three-hitter in the Spartans’ victory. Boardman’s Coleman Stauffer and Gavin Strines each had two hits. The Spartans (12-9, 6-2 All-American Conference Blue) are now in first place in the division. Canfield is now 11-10 and 6-4.

Mineral Ridge 3, Sebring 2 8 innings

SEBRING

Sam Kooyman drove in a pair of runs on two hits to lead Mineral Ridge past Sebring in eight innings. Nick Ferguson pitched a complete game three-hitter with 11 strikeouts for the Rams (8-10). Kleinman had a pair of hits for the Trojans.

St. Thomas Aquinas 14, Warren JFK 5

LOUISVILLE

A nine-run fifth inning by the Knights (18-5) was the difference in a North Coast League victory. St. Thomas Aquinas overcame an early 5-2 deficit against Warren JFK (8-10). Preston Caparanis and Ryan Lee had the only hits for the Eagles.

Campbell 7, Liberty 6

Nico Bednarik had two hits and scored twice and Will Morris doubled home the winning run for the Red Devils (6-5 AAC). Ryan Luciano pitched four innings, struck out five and allowed one run for the victory.

Springfield 4, East Palestine 2

Ryan Kohler had two hits, including a double, and scored twice as the Tigers (16-7, 5-3 ITCL) avenged a loss Monday loss to the Bulldogs. Mark Schuler doubled and Anthony Ugolini tripled for Springfield. Tigers pitcher Russell Seymour got the win, going 41/3 innings and striking out six. JEFFERSON

Jared Burkert pitched a one-hitter over five innings and struck out nine as the Bulldogs improved to 18-2 overall and 9-0 in the All-American Conference. Burkert helped his own cause with three hits and Anthony Calcagni also had three hits, including a triple. Andrew Kosco added two hits and two RBIs for the Bulldogs.

Lisbon 6, Wellsville 2

N. Barnes scored twice as Lisbon raced past Wellsville. C. Sweeney allowed only two hits and struck out nine on the mound for the Blue Devils (7-10, 6-2). Smith took the loss for the Tigers.

CANFIELD

Allison Fabry threw a no-hitter for Canfield in a big win over Austintown Fitch. Fabry struckout four and walked two Falcons (8-10, 5-4). The Cardinals (14-3, 7-1) plated nine runs in the first three innings.

Champion 4, Newton Falls 3

NEWTON FALLS

Brittany Allen had three hits, including a double, and drove in two runs to lead the Golden Flashes (14-4, 8-1 All-American Conference, Red Division) to a second straight win over the Tigers (17-4, 7-3). Megan Turner, Molly Williams and McKenzie Zigmont each added two hits for Champion. K. Wainwright and N. Georgalas each had two hits for Newton Falls.

Howland 5, Ursuline 4

YOUNGSTOWN

Sara Price and Hannah Kowach hit solo home runs and Reann Litz, Lexi Ross, Kowach, Monica Kotyuk and Morgan Remsey each had two hits as the Tigers beat the Irish. Kotyuk and Remsey each had a double. Hannah Burke and Hannah Kowach combined on a four-hitter, with Kowach holding Ursuline hitless over the final 31/3 innings. Jordyn Kenneally hit a solo homer for the Irish.

BOARDMAN

Annie Heath hit a two-run homer in the sixth inning to break a 1-1 tie and lead Beaver Local (12-10) to a win. Beavers starter Kelly Messenger scattered four hits and struck out 12. Sydney Shugart struck out eight for the Cardinals (16-5), but saw her record drop to 8-3. Mooney’s Jami DiFabio and Adrianna Popovich each doubled.

LaBrae 10, Girard 6 8 innings

GIRARD

Morgan Meyer had two hits and drove in four runs as LaBrae scored two in the seventh inning and fourth in the eighth for a come-from-behind win over Girard. Haley Davies also had two hits and three RBIs for the Vikings. Emily Dugan threw all eight innings, striking out six, for the win.

Pymatuning Valley 6, Brookfield 3

ANDOVER

Hurst and Kidd each singled and doubled, Sloan singled twice and Stech hit a triple as the Lakers beat the Warriors. Stech struck out five and scattered eight hits for the victory. McKenzie Drapola and Alisha Quinlan each had two hits for Brookfield.

BERLIN CENTER

Maddie Krietzburg pitched a four-hitter as the Blue Devils (11-6, 0-1 ITCL) blanked the Bluejays. Aleah Hughes had three hits and Abby Hemphill singled, tripled and drove in three runs for Western Reserve. Krietzburg and Jenny Stubbs also had two hits apiece.

Sara Dalrymple had two hits and two RBIs to lead the Tigers. Devyn Flory had two hits and a RBI for the Blue Devils.

Bailey Byers had three hits including two doubles with 3RBIs and Kylie Coffelt added two hits to lead the Warriors (14-4).

Darby Kolesar allowed five hits and struck out 10. Allie Watkins had a double and a home run with two RBIs and Adrianna Reese had two hits for the Rams (8-5).

Brittany Knight had two hits and picked up the win for the Bombers (12-3). Ashlyn Slusher had two hits and two runs for the Panthers.
