TGI Fridays in Boardman closes

BOARDMAN — TGI Fridays, 7165 Tiffany Blvd., closed operations as of Monday.

The franchise location has served in the area for 22 years, said Mike Fuhrman, vice president of operations for the company.

“Our lease ended as of yesterday [Monday],” he said.

The company employed 70 workers, who were offered employment at other TGI Fridays locations in the Pittsburgh area or a severance package.
