Boardman 7, Canfield 1

BOARDMAN

Coleman Stauffer had two hits and drove in two runs for the Spartans (12-9, 5-2 All-American Conference Red). Mike Despetorich had two hits while Drew Wagner hit a three-run double. Nick Stamp also doubled. Hudson Widrig improved to 6-0 by scattering six Canfield hits. For the Cardinals (11-9, 6-3), Pete Hernandez doubled.

Austintown Fitch 12, Lakeside 2

AUSTINTOWN

An eight-run second inning led the Falcons over the Dragons in five innings. Nick Heitzer went 3-for-3 with four RBIs and Joe Ciarnello tripled and drove in two runs. Patrick Gerberry singled, doubled and drove in a run. He also pitched five innings for the win, striking out eight.

Poland 15, Jefferson 0

POLAND

Ricky Svetlak went 3-for-3, homered and drove in five runs, Dom Lipari went for 4-for-4 with two doubles and four RBIs and Nick Romeo hit a solo homer for the Bulldogs (16-2). Adam Knight (6-0) worked all five innings and allowed just three hits.

Niles 7, Hubbard 4

NILES

The Red Dragons spotted the Eagles a 3-0 lead, but rallied to win. Cameron Carson doubled and drove in two runs for Niles and Damien Coleman also doubled and had two RBIs. Murphy Miller and Geno Barricella also had RBIs for the Red Dragons. Tyler Srbinovich struck out seven and scattered seven hits.

Girard 10, LaBrae 1

LEAVITTSBURG

Kyle Harris pitched a two-hitter and struck out 12 as the Indians (9-11, 7-4 AAC) beat the Vikings (9-6, 8-3). Christian Bello singled, doubled and drove in four runs for Girard and Austin DeGregory had two hits and two RBIs. Zach Burrelli also had two hits.

Lakeview 7, Southington 0

CORTLAND

Adam Neff pitched a two-hitter and struck out five as the Bulldogs (6-8) beat the Wildcats (10-7). D.J. Morvay had two hits, including a triple, and two RBIs for Lakeview. Nick Boldt had two hits and Neff had a double.

Campbell 12, Liberty 1

LIBERTY

Winning pitcher Stephan Elash struck out six in the Red Devils’ AAC victory. Ian Sewell, Ryan Luciano and Nico Bednarik each had two hits for Campbell.

East Palestine 5, Springfield 4

EAST PALESTINE

Sam Yarosz drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh for the Bulldogs. Keith Shupt picked up the win and Blaze Chamberlain was 2-for-3 with three runs for the Bulldogs (11-6). Brandon Chamberlain had two hits for the Tigers (15-7).

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Greg Dunham and Ryan Miller each had three hits and Brandon Youngs two for the Raiders (12-7, 4-2 ITCL Red). One of Dunham’s hits was a triple. Dylan Keller drove in three runs while Youngs and Miller each had two RBIs. The Eagles are 1-13.

Western Reserve 3, Jackson-Milton 2

NORTH JACKSON

Jeep DiCioccio had two hits and a RBI and Wyatt Larimer picked up the win for the Blue Devils (17-3), who clinched the ITCL Blue Division title. Noah Laster had two hits for the Bluejays (11-6).

Garrett Mulrooney’s game-winning single scored Ben Carkido in the bottom of the ninth inning. Joe Celli had two hits and scored one run for the Blue Devils (9-8, 4-5 ITCL Blue). Carkido drove in two runs. For the Rockets, Tyler Barone tripled and doubled to bring home two runs.

WELLSVILLE

Dave Toot earned the win with six-and-a-third innings of relief, allowing three hits. Nick Bowen had three hits and Bryan Scarabino two for the Blue Devils.

WARREN

Winning pitcher Daniel Piero tossed a one-hitter. His four hits included two doubles and produced three RBIs. Jarrod Schopp had two hits and four RBIs.

VIENNA

Ryan Kay shut out the Braves for five innings and had seven strikeouts. Cobie Pratt and Rob Helmick each had three hits for the Mustangs.

EAST LIVERPOOL

Andy Sodergren picked up the win and was 4-for-4 with two runs. Nathan Sommers added seven strikeouts in relief and was 2-for-3 with a RBI for the Lions (10-4).

CHAMPION

Haylee Gardiner pitched a one-hitter and Molly Williams hit a three-run homer in the first inning as the Golden Flashes (13-4, 7-1 AAC Blue) beat the Tigers (17-3, 7-2). McKenzie Zigmont had two hits for Champion.

Kristen Huck threw a complete game on her senior night for the Spartans. Addison Menosky had two hits and Marisa Hanna, Hailey Eicher and Lexi Caraballo drove in runs for Boardman. Harding’s Alexis Stano had three hits.

Canfield 8, Austintown Fitch 1

AUSTINTOWN

The Cardinals (13-3, 6-1 AAC) did all their damage during an eight-run fifth inning. Maura Kennedy singled, tripled and drove in a run and Ally Sammarco doubled and drove in two runs. Canfield also got two RBIs from Kara Rothbauer and two hits from Rachel Tinkey and Karina Kennedy. One of Kennedy’s hits was a triple. Sierra Pierce drove in the run for Fitch (8-9, 5-3). Bridget Durkin pitched a five-hitter for the win.

East 22, Akron North 6

YOUNGSTOWN

Jalea Howell was the winning pitcher and Jalyssa Stanford hit a two-run double for the Panthers.

Poland 11, Lakeside 0

POLAND

Ally Deemer pitched a one-hitter and struck out 12 for the Bulldogs. Chloe Bush homered and Amanda Kabetso went 3-for-3 for Poland (12-5). Claire Testa, Deemer, Brielle Nocera and Kristyn Svetlak each had two hits.

Emily Dugan tossed a four-hit shutout, striking out seven batters and walking none. Hayley Davies and Morgan Meyer each had two hits and one RBI for the Vikings.

HUBBARD

Addy Jarvis had 15 strikeouts and gave up two hits to lead the Eagles. Emma Wukelich and Leah Munnell each had two hits for the Eagles (11-7).

Avrey Steiner threw a complete game giving up four hits, Tori Wells had two RBIs and Kylee Mann had two doubles for the Bulldogs (9-4).

Taylor Helon was the winning pitcher and had two triples and four RBIs for the Raiders. Codi Taylor added three hits and three RBIs. Jordan Youngs had three RBIs for the Raiders(15-6). The Raiders clinched a share of the ITCL Red Division title.

Josie Applegarth had three hits including a home run and four RBIs for the Tigers. Emily Stacy added three RBIs (9-11).

WELLSVILLE

Hannah Hiscox and Devyn Flory each had three hits and three RBIs to lead the Blue Devils.

MINERAL RIDGE

Darby Kolesar pitched a complete game and had 14 strikeouts. Allie Watkins had two singles and a triple for the Rams (7-5).

Aleah Hughes pitched a no-hitter striking out 11. Tory White had a home run and four RBIs and Maddie Krietzburg had three hits and two RBIs for the Blue Devils (10-6).

VIENNA

Cheyenne Eggens (15-2) scattered three hits and the Mustangs broke the game open with a six-run fourth inning. Maddy Nicula, Lenna Hoff and Karli Romesberg each drove in two runs for Mathews (15-3, 9-1 Northeastern Athletic Conference).

Brittany Knight tossed a perfect game of the the Bombers. She also hit two doubles and drove in four runs.
