WARREN — With absentee ballots counted, early voting shows Anthony Natale ahead over challenger Andy Barkley in the 53.7 percent to 46.3 percent in the Democratic primary for Warren city auditor.

In the contested council races, early returns show Eddie Colbert, Helen Rucker and Dan Sferra ahead in the council-at-large race; John Brown Jr. leading David Barran in the 3rd Ward race; Vincent Flask ahead in the 5th Ward race; James Bluedorn with a slight lead over two challengers in the 4th Ward race; and Cheryl Saffold slightly ahead in the 6th Ward contest.
