Debutants are sought for 60th Cinderella Ball

The Junior Civic League of Youngstown is preparing for its 60th Annual Cinderella Ball to take place Nov. 27 at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center. The theme of this year’s ball is “A Reflection of Excellence.”

The JCL is seeking young ladies as debutantes for the event. She must be a high school senior during the 2015-2016 year and have a grade point average of at least 2.0, and cannot be a parent. Debutante applications will be accepted until June 1.

When crowned as Miss Cinderella, the young lady has the choice of receiving a cash prize of $400 or a $2,500 scholarship to the accredited college of her choice.
