Boardman man gets felony domestic violence charge
BOARDMAN — A township man faces a third-degree felony domestic violence charge after he was arrested at his Cook Avenue apartment late Monday.
The wife of David Klemm, 64, reported to police that Klemm assaulted her after she declined to have sex with him. Police observed multiple injuries on the victim, who was taken to the hospital.
The domestic violence charge was elevated to a felony because Klemm has two prior domestic violence convictions, according to a police report.
Klemm was taken to the Mahoning County jail, pending an appearance in Mahoning County Area Court here.
