Canfield Republican Women’s Club is sponsoring a quarter auction June 4 at Drake’s Landing, 2177 Western Reserve Road, Canfield. Hors d’oeuvres and a wine taste will start at 6 p.m., and the auction will begin at 7. Doors will open at 5:30. Take quarters or buy them at the auction. The $25 donation includes an auction paddle. Featured will be patriotic items, wine baskets, antiques and more. There also will be a 50-50 raffle and a handgun raffle. Eyes for Olivia will sponsor a quarter auction at 7 p.m. Friday at the Memorial Building Gymnasium, 785 E. State St., Salem. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and the auction will begin at 7. The cost of $5 per person for adults only includes one bidding paddle. Take a nonperishable food item for the Salem Food Pantry and receive a free T-shirt while supplies last. Mathews Varsity-Junior Varsity Parents will host a quarter auction Saturday at the Italian Fraternal Home, 33 W. Wilson Ave., Girard. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and the auction begins at 7. The event is for those 18 and older. Tickets are advance only and cost $5 each, which includes the first bidding number. Additional numbers are available for purchase at the BYOB event. St. Rose Church, 61 E. Main St., will have a Big Bingo Night on May 15, with prizes of $6,000 in bingo games expected to be paid out. Doors open at 4 p.m., and bingo starts at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $35 per person. Advance tickets are being sold at Wednesday night St. Rose Bingo and Monday through Friday at St. Rose Rectory. Tickets also are available by calling 330-545-8207. A maximum of 250 tickets will be sold. Prizes are guaranteed with a minimum of 180 in attendance. The first half coverall is $1,000, and the second half coverall is $1,500. Other prizes will include three $100 cash prizes, two sets of one-month free bingo (valued at $100 each), Winner Take All Raffle at $3 per ticket or two for $5 and four for $10. Pull-tab games will also be sold.

PPG Reflections and Memories Relay For Life Team is having a Car-Bike Cruise-In from 1 to 4 p.m. May 16 at McCandless Ford, 8416 Sharon-Mercer Road, Mercer, Pa. Driver registration is $5. There will be a 50-50 drawing, basket auction, music with DJ Rick, food, and a driver-only drawing. Boardman United Methodist Church, 6809 Market St., will have a spring trash and treasure sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday (bargain bag day). Coffee and doughnuts will be available.
Girard Junior Women will have their annual trunk and treasure sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 100 N. Market St., Girard. The event will take place rain or shine. Call 330-545-5962 to reserve a spot for $15 each. All proceeds are donated back to the Girard community.
Good Hope Church, 98 Homestead Drive, Boardman, will have a Relay for Life Team Rummage Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday featuring clothes, small appliances, books, tools, toys and miscellaneous items. There also will be homemade vegetable beef barley and wedding soups for $8 per quart or $1.50 per bowl. The relay team will serve food all day to raise money for Boardman Relay for Life.
Helping Hands Closet at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, has new and gently used clothes for the entire family. Just in for women are sizes 3X, 4X and 5X. Some wedding attire is available. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays.
Lawrence County Garden Mart is sponsoring a gathering of garden clubs and others who will be selling annuals, perennials, baked goods and crafts from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 18 at Cascade Park Pavilion, Cascade Street, New Castle, Pa. Proceeds from the sale benefit the clubs and cost of the spaces benefits the city of New Castle for improvements to the park.
Legacy Dog Rescue, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, will have a one-day Junk in the Trunk Sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Family Video, 4385 Kirk Road, Austintown.
