Vacant home on Manchester destroyed by fire

YOUNGSTOWN — A vacant house fire on the West Side early Saturday morning destroyed a 23 Manchester Ave. home.

Crews arriving after they were called about 12:10 a.m. and found a heavy fire in the front of the home. Reports said firefighters managed to get inside to knock the flames down.

Damage is estimated at $13,000. There were no injuries.
