Police seize sawed-off shotgun, arrest man

YOUNGSTOWN — Police seized a sawed-off shotgun at a North Side home Saturday.

At about 5:25 p.m., officers were called to Bryson Street for a report of a man with a gun and found Bud Roland, 66, who matched the description, reports said.

He was uncooperative but did give police permission to search his home, where the gun was found.

Roland was arrested and taken to the Mahoning County jail on a charge of unlawful possession of dangerous ordnance.
