Mascarella trial to get underway today

YOUNGSTOWN — Jurors are reporting to the courtroom of Judge Lou D'Apolito in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court to hear the case against Joseph Mascarella, 20, who is facing 15 counts of aggravated robbery.

Mascarella is accused of taking part in six separate robberies on the South Side between Oct. and Oct. 28, 2013.

A co-defendant has already pleaded guilty for his role in the case.
