Ajax Magnethermic Retirees will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Station Square, 4250 Belmont Ave. Guests are welcome.

Canfield AARP 3104 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at the Canfield Presbyterian Church. Blood pressure screenings will be available from noon to 12:45. The Canfield Middle School Band will entertain. Upcoming bus trips include: May 17 trip to Cleveland Playhouse Square to see the stage show “I Love Lucy,” call 330 332 4791; June 28 will feature a trip to Mentor Performing Arts for a concert of Bobby Vinton, call 330 533 4954; July 27 to July 30 is four days and three nights trip in upstate New York’s Eleven Finger Lakes, activities planned including a lake dinner cruise, call 330-757-0780 for details. Nonmembers and guests are welcome at the meetings and trips. Members who have not paid dues for 2015 as well as people interested in membership should contact the membership chairwoman at 330-337-3133. Local chapter dues are $8 per year. There will be a board meeting at 10 a.m. May 18 at the church.

Cornersburg Happy Seniors will meet Thursday at A La Cart Catering in Canfield with Linda Wiland presiding. To reserve lunch call Wiland at 330-318-8472. The cost of lunch is $11. Dues will be collected for 2015. The group meets the first Thursday of each month for lunch and a program. Cornersburg residency is not required.

Mahoning Retired Teachers Association will meet May 13 at Antone’s Banquet Center, 8578 Market St., Boardman. A social will begin at 11 a.m., and lunch, at 11:45. Susan Harris will preside. The program will feature the annual In Memoriam by Sally Winsen, In Remembrance by Martha Lopez, and recognition of all 90-years and older members. Ann Hanning, executive director of Ohio Retired Teachers Association, will be the speaker. This month’s community service will be donations for the Rape Crisis Center. Freetimers, Youngstown State University retirees, will have their monthly breakfast at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Davidson’s Restaurant in Cornersburg. All retirees are invited.

Retired RNs Interest Group will meet at 1 p.m. May 19 for its annual catered luncheon at A La Cart in Canfield. Books will be audited, and the ONA scholarship fund will be discussed. Dinner will be served at 1 p.m. There will be no more meetings until September.

SOAR 27-2 and 27-6, Steelworkers Retirees Local Union 1330 and 1331, will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Niles-Canfield Road. Refreshments will be served, and new members are welcome.
