Lennington to sign her novel at library

Judy Lennington of Cortland has published her ninth novel, “The Grey Areas,” coming out this month.

She will host a book signing from 2 to 8 p.m. May 12 at the Y-Inn, 7192 state Route 7, Rogers. The author also will speak at 6 p.m. May 13 at the East Palestine Memorial Public Library, 309 Market St.

The story is about a woman found floating at sea on a sinking rubber raft who has been severely beaten and is in a coma. When she wakes, she has no recollection of her identity or what happened. In flashbacks, strangers tell her they were partners with her in the CIA, and each insists the other is a Russian agent trying to get her to give up information.
