MVRC will take bets on Derby

AUSTINTOWN

Bets can be placed for the Kentucky Derby starting today at noon at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, 655 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

The Derby will be run Saturday at around 6:25 p.m. at Churchill Downs in Lexington, Ky. Officials with Hollywood Gaming are encouraging Mahoning Valley residents to bet early because they expect a big crowd Saturday.
