Winning pitcher Matt Baker tossed a two-hitter, striking out six for the Bulldogs (16-2).

AUSTINTOWN

Nick Bianco got his first varsity win pitching a complete game six-hitter, striking out six for Austintown Fitch. Bianco also went 2-for-3 with a run scored and two RBIs. Joe Ciarnello went 1-for-2 with two RBIs for the Falcons. Andrew Armstrong took the loss, walking four and striking out five for the Cardinals.

CHAMPION

Lucas Nasonti had two hits and four RBIs and Michael Turner added two RBIs for the Golden Flashes (12-3). Mike Caige had two hits for the Panthers.

Girard 5, Edgewood 4

ASHTABULA

Isaiah Dunizant went 2-for-3, Warren Grift went 2-for-4, and Troy Trumbetta picked up the win for the Indians (8-11). Matt DiDonanto had two hits for the Warriors (4-9).

Springfield 20, Columbiana 8

COLUMBIANA

Hunter Snyder drove in three runs while Ryan Kohler and Dalton Donachie each scored three times for the Tigers. Jordan Peterson drove in two runs. Donachie, Brandon Chamberlain and Ian Grdina also had hits. For the Clippers, Mitch Davidson had two hits and scored twice while Devin Rice drove in two runs.

HANOVERTON

Walker Marlowe had two hits and two RBIs, Jacob Clark added three hits and Jeep DiCioccio picked up the win for the Blue Devils (15-3).

MCDONALD

Joe Sudol went 2-for-4 with a double, Garett Mulrooney had two hits and Nick Shiley earned the win for the Blue Devils (8-8). Chris Mott had two hits for the Braves.

Mineral Ridge 11, Leetonia 0

MINERAL RIDGE

Aaron Frantz pitched a no-hitter with eight strikeouts and also went 2-for-3 with three RBIs to lead Mineral Ridge over Leetonia. Collin Cameron and Macauley White each scored a pair of runs for the Rams.

East Palestine 4, Sebring 0

SEBRING

Josh Fristik walked one and struck out 12 to lead East Palestine over Sebring. Blaze Chamberlain went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. Trevor Kimmel was also 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Bulldogs (9-5, 3-3). Sebring was held to just two hits.

Mathews 12, Bristol 0

BRISTOLVILLE

Bryan Oatridge struck out six and walked one to earn the win for Mathews. Mike Kennedy had three hits and two RBIs and Cobie Pratt had three hits and four RBIs for the Mustangs (9-3, 7-0). Dempsey had six strikeouts in the loss for Panthers (2-5).

BOARDMAN

Nick Stamp drove in Lou Cordona with a sacrifice fly for the winning run. Gavin Strines added three hits and Dom Bario got the win for the Spartans (11-9). Eric White had two hits for the Bulldogs (14-2).

YOUNGSTOWN

Winning pitcher Jaela Howell had 5 six strikeouts and two RBIs. Honay Igram contributed two triples and five RBIs for the Panthers.

Barberton 3, Austintown Fitch 2

BARBERTON

Riley Ries homered and Kayla Rorrer hit a two-run double for Barberton (12-8). For the Falcons (8-6), Maddie Everhart had two hits while Makenzie Luknis and Julia McMenamin each had a double. Everhart and Alex Franken each drove in a run.

Canfield 16, Warren Harding 0

WARREN

With 11 runs in the first three innings, Canfield cruised past Warren Harding. Amelia Manenti homered, tripled, had three RBIs and scored three runs for the Cardinals (12-3, 5-1). Kara Rothbauer, Ally Sammarco and Rachel Tinkey all hit home runs for Canfield.

Hubbard 8, Struthers 4

STRUTHERS

Addie Jarvis struck out 12 and scattered eight hits for her ninth win of the season to lift Hubbard over Struthers. Annie Zagorec had two hits and two RBIs, Emma Wukelich had three hits and Jarvis also added two RBIs for the Eagles (10-7, 6-3). Kayla Brown homered for Struthers.

BROOKFIELD

McKenzie Drapola led the Warriors with four hits including a three-run homer. Destiny May, KenYana Ashley, Michaela Gauding and Alisha Quinlan each had two hits.

LEAVITTSBURG

Kasey Rininger had three hits and four RBIs, Haley Davies had three hits and two RBIs and Emily Dugan earned the win for the Rams.

Columbiana 7, Springfield 6

COLUMBIANA

Madison Roessler had three hits and three RBIs for the undefeated Clippers (18-0). Haley Thom contributed two doubles and two RBIs while Madison Macklin’s two hits included a triple. For the Tigers, Nikki Bovo’s two hits included a double. Shelby Sandrock hit two doubles and Michaela Cavalcanti had two singles.

MINERAL RIDGE

Cheyenne Titus went the distance with seven strikeouts, Rachel Ward had a triple and three RBIs, and Kerrigan McDermott had two triples and two RBIs for the Blue Devils (10-3).

Mathews 8, Bristol 0

BRISTOLVILLE

Cheyenne Eggens pitched a one-hitter as Mathews topped Bristol. Eggens also scored and drove in a run. Paula Sponsler added three singles, a run scored and a stolen base for the Mustangs (13-3, 7-1).
