Glunt expands with purchase of Timken Industrial Services

NILES — Warren-based Glunt Industries Inc. today announced their expansion to a fourth manufacturing facility, acquiring the assets of Timken Industrial Services, 1819 N. Main St., from North Canton-based Timken Co.

The expansion adds 25 to 30 machinists, welders and production workers for a total of 200 Glunt employees.

“The acquisition of Timken Industrial Services – Niles Plant further advances our strategy to expand our capabilities and is a great opportunity for the growth of our company and the development of our local community. With this added turn-key capacity we will become more efficient and have the ability to take on more projects than ever before,” Glunt President and CEO Dennis Glunt said in a statement.
