Warren man jailed on rape charge

WARREN — Michael D. Gray, 66, of Atlantic Street Northeast, is in the Trumbull County jail without eligibility for bond after his arraignment today on a rape charge in Warren Municipal Court.

The charges stem from a complaint filed with city police March 20 by a Warren woman alleging Gray raped her 5-year-old daughter early in March.

A warrant through Warren Municipal Court was filed charging Gray with the offense March 25, but Gray was in a Veterans Administration hospital in Cleveland until Monday, when he was brought to the Trumbull County jail.

A not-guilty plea was entered for him, according to court records.
