Trumbull grand jury indicts Champion man on burglary charge

WARREN — A Trumbull County grand jury today indicted Timothy W. Adkins, 30, of Prentice Road Northwest, Champion, on a burglary charge.

He’s accused of breaking into his neighbor’s house in January. He faces a possible eight-year prison term if he’s convicted.

Champion police were called to 476 Prentice Road at 4:17 p.m. Jan. 26 for a suspicious-person complaint coming from neighbors across the street, who said Adkins come into their house and into the family room, took off his slippers, placed a pencil on the floor, then left as the caller yelled at him to get out.
