Fitch High will serve senior citizens dinner

AUSTINTOWN

Austintown residents who are 65 and older are invited to the Spring Senior Citizens Dinner at 4 p.m. April 29 at Fitch High School.

Board members, school staff and student groups will serve dinner, and students will entertain the senior citizens until 6 p.m.

Advance reservations are required. The cost of the dinner is $2. Call 330-797-3919 by April 24 to reserve a seat.

Women voters league sets April 30 meeting

AUSTINTOWN

League of Women Voters of Greater Youngstown will meet at 6:30 p.m. April 30 at the Austintown Branch of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County, 500 S. Raccoon Road.

Local author Kristen Olmi, a league member, will share information from her new book, “Winning Elections: A Blueprint for the Public Servant in Us All.” The book provides practical advice for those seeking a political office.
