“Killing Jesus” (8 p.m., National Geographic Channel): “Killing Jesus” is the latest film based on a Bill O’Reilly whodunit-style best-seller. It’s a three-hour drama that examines the “political, social and historical collusions” that led to Jesus’ crucifixion.

“Going Clear: SCIENTOLOGY AND THE PRISON OF BELIEF” (8 P.M., HBO): This riveting — and harrowing — documentary is based on Pulitzer Prize- winner Lawrence Wright’s book. It attempts to shine a light on the controversial religion and why so many people, including celebrities, are drawn to it.

“Mr. Selfridge” (9 p.m., PBS): Season 3 begins.

“The Walking Dead” (9 p.m., AMC): Season 5 ends with a 90-minute episode.

Simply Slavic fest seeking vendors

YOUNGSTOWN

Slavic retail, craft, fine art and food vendors are being sought for the fifth annual Simply Slavic festival, which will take place June 20, on East Federal Street, downtown.

The confirmation deadline for previous vendors is April 15. Applications from new vendors will be accepted after this date.

Toastmasters club plans open house

Youngstown

Youngstown Toastmasters Club will have an open house Monday from 6:40 to 8:45 p.m. at Summitville Tile building, 631 Boardman- Canfield Road.

People interested in becoming better public speakers and effective leaders are welcome to attend.

After a brief reception, guests will see a regular Toastmasters meeting that will include impromptu speeches, prepared speeches and evaluations.
