SENIOR CITIZENS


Canfield AARP 3104 will meet at 1 p.m. April 6 at Canfield Presbyterian Church. Blood pressure screenings will be available from noon to 12:45. Kara Sabatino, a licensed dietitian and physical fitness instructor, will demonstrate ideas to help with balance and overall fitness, as well as answer nutrition questions. Upcoming bus trips follow: April 25, to Westminster College for a musical production, “100 Years of Broadway.” Included is a tour of Wendell August Forge and dinner at Tavern on the Square in New Wilmington, Pa. Cornersburg Happy Seniors will meet Thursday at A La Cart Catering in Canfield with Linda Wiland presiding. Dues will be collected for 2015. The group of seniors from all areas meets the first Thursday of each month to enjoy lunch and a program. Cornersburg residency is not required. Retired men, women and couples, 55 years or older, who would like to socialize for a few hours, are invited to reserve lunch by calling Wiland at 330-318-8472. The cost of lunch is $11. Visitors are welcome.

Lowellville Senior Citizens have changed their monthly meeting date because of the Easter holiday. They will meet at noon April 10 at Lowellville City Hall conference room. All trustees are asked to arrive at 11:30 to conduct annual the annual audit. Lunch will be catered by Giannios Catering. After the business meeting, members will play bingo. Retired Registered Nurses will meet for a casserole lunch at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Western Reserved United Methodist Church, Canfield Road. Members with last names beginning with A through G are asked to take entrees; H through O, salads; and P through Z, desserts. Members should take their own table service. All registered nurses are welcome to attend.
