Seminar to explain U.S. Postal Service

The Steel Valley Postal Customer Council is offering a free seminar to help businesses understand the U.S. Postal Service at the Youngstown Post Office, 99 S. Walnut St., from 10:30 a.m. to noon, April 10.

Chamber will host 2015 business expo

WEST MIDDLESEX, PA.

The Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce will host its 2015 Business to Business Expo and 40 Under 40 reception at the Park Inn by Radisson Courtyard, 3377 New Castle Road, from 4 to 7 p.m. April 9.

The event is an opportunity for the business community to learn about the latest business services available in the greater Mercer and Lawrence counties. There will be hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. The highlight of the evening will be the recognition of the chamber’s 40 Under 40 honorees.

The two-county program is designed to recognize 40 up-and-coming professionals under age 40 from Lawrence and Mercer counties. For information or to register, call the chamber at 724-654-5593.

Apply by April 6 for NASA Roadshow

YOUNGSTOWN

The application deadline is April 6 for Youngstown-area manufacturers to participate in the NASA Roadshow, hosted by the Manufacturing Advocacy & Growth Network — MAGNET — from Cleveland, and the NASA Glenn Research Center.

Manufacturers in the Youngstown-Warren region and surrounding areas in Ohio will have access to experts from NASA to solve technical challenges with products or manufacturing operations.

Five local organizations are partnering with MAGNET and NASA Glenn to present this opportunity to the region’s manufacturers: YSU College of STEM, Youngstown Business Incubator, Tech Belt Energy Innovation Center, Mahoning Valley Manufacturing Coalition and the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber. Free seminar targets business ethics

The C.S. Lewis Institute-Northeast Ohio will host a free business seminar and business ethics luncheon, “Authentic Leadership in the Marketplace,” from noon to 2:30 p.m. April 23 at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center, 7440 South Ave.

The seminar features Brad Smith, president of Bakke Graduate University of Ministry, who will provide perspective on how to integrate work in people’s lives. The seminar is free, but registrations are required at www.bradsmith.eventbrite.com.
